As rumours gather about more letters of no confidence in the Prime Minister, philanthropist, business leader and Phones 4U founder John Caudwell talked to Tom Swarbrick on LBC about his concerns about Boris Johnson’s errors of judgment.
Despite his frequent criticism, however, Caudwell hasn’t completely written off supporting either the Conservative Party or Boris Johnson in future. “He has an amazing ability to survive and he has likeable charisma,” said John, who has also been impressed by Johnson’s strong support for Ukraine and its embattled president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
As for Keir Starmer and the Labour Party, the jury is still out for John.
