Graeme and Leanne Carling, the latest philanthropy power couple to join the prestigious Life-Changers Circle, have committed to donating at least £1 million over the next ten years to Caudwell Children.
Scottish property and construction entrepreneurs, Graeme and Leanne Carling, met this week with the renowned philanthropist and Caudwell Children founder and chairman emeritus John Caudwell at his London home to officially join his prestigious Life-Changers Circle by committing to donate a minimum of £1million to help autistic and disabled children.
The founders of United Capital and the Carling Property Group are the latest family to have committed to the generous donation in support of national charity, Caudwell Children.
Graeme Carling commented on the announcement:
“Our hard work has left us in the fortunate position to be able to give back and it provides us both with a huge sense of personal and spiritual fulfilment to be able to help children who need that extra helping hand.”
The Life-Changers Circle was established in 2020 by Caudwell in a bid to create a global network of like-minded philanthropists working together for a common goal. Membership to the network requires a commitment to donate £1miilion to the charity, with five inductees already signed up to the generous pledge.
Leanne Carling said:
“As parents ourselves, Graeme and I can only imagine what it must feel like to not be able to provide your children with the care and support they need. Caudwell Children is removing these difficult barriers for thousands of children and parents every year so we are delighted to be able to support their vital work.”
Caudwell Children is a national charity that provides practical and emotional support for autistic and disabled children. Founded in 2000 by John Caudwell, the charity has provided support worth £85million for over 60,000 children with 650 different medical conditions.
In 2019 the charity officially launched the Caudwell International Children’s Centre, the UK’s first independent purpose-built facility for the assessment, support and research of autism.
John Caudwell said:
